We can also arrange your transfers from the airport. Freestyle Resort Port Douglas is specifically designed to suit our unique tropical climate. The classic North Queenslander features over-hanging roofs, verandahs, shutters, all surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Freestyle features 31 one- and two-bedroom, self-contained, air-conditioned, fully furnished apartments with top quality finishes and all the amenities including broadband access in apartments and Wi-Fi in lobby. The apartments overlook the saltwater pool and spa, garden pavilion, or a tropical reserve. Freestyle’s one-bedroom apartments have a queen sized bed, en-suite bathroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, hotplates, dishwasher and 220L fridge/freezer) and spacious balcony with a ceiling fan. The sofa in the living room folds out to a double bed with a sprung mattress. Our two-bedroom apartments are on the second floor and have internal stairs. Upstairs there is a bedroom with either a king sized bed or two single beds, a bathroom (shower & bath) and a separate toilet. Downstairs is a similar layout to the one-bedroom apartments. All apartments are self-contained and air-conditioned, with ceiling fans throughout. There’s lots of open space around Freestyle to capture the cool sea breezes. Reynolds Park is opposite, and to the north of Freestyle is another council reserve. The saltwater swimming pool is 15 metres long and there’s a large deck around the pool, leading to the barbecue pavilion. The local tennis courts are just across the road. It’s an easy walk to the beach, the restaurants and shops, to the marina, the markets, and the main street. No need for a hire-car or taxi – just switch into holiday mode. Freestyle is situated at 47 Davidson Street, opposite Reynolds Park and between Blake and Beryl Streets, just 250 metres to the beach and 600 metres to the village centre. We can arrange your transfers from Cairns airport. Just let us know your flight details and we'll do the rest. Cost is $33.00 one-way for adults, $20.00 for children 12 and under or family rate of $85.00. |

The reef and rainforest are well within reach. Dive or snorkel among the brilliant corals and marine creatures in the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef; bush-walk in the ancient World-Heritage Listed Daintree forests; enjoy golf, reef or river fishing; white water rafting; a wildlife adventure, a little butterfly spotting. Drive or take a tour to Mossman Gorge, the Atherton Tablelands, Kuranda, or just laze by the pool or enjoy a massage or spa treatment.
