Tucked away in a quiet residential street in the inner city suburb of South Melbourne, the iPad is a new way of thinking when it comes to staying in Melbourne for business or pleasure.

With much more charm than your average hotel room, and at a fraction of the price, the iPad is a mini one bedroom Victorian home, with a contemporary and relaxed interior.

South Melbourne is only a five minute cab ride to the CBD.

A five minute walk will take you to one of Melbourne's main tram junctions and Albert Park Lake (where the Formula 1 Grand Prix is held) is at the end of the street!

We are also spoiled for choice with quality restaurants, pubs, bistros and delis in the area.

The iPad adjoins our own home. If we are in town, you may hear our son from time to time, however, no moreso than neighbouring hotel rooms.

Getting There	If arriving by taxi from the airport, take the Kings Way exit off the freeway and turn right at the first set of traffic lights, into Sturt Street. Follow the tram tracks up to the roundabout and go straight across this to Heather Street. Continue down to the next roundabout and turn left into Napier Street then right into Stead Street. The two best tram options are to either take: The number 112 (Fitzroy Street bound) from Collins Street in the city (there is also a stop outside the front of the Southern Cross Station) and get off at the corner of Clarendon and Park Streets. Turn left into Park Street and cross over Moray Street. You will then come to the first abovementioned roundabout. Turn right into Heather Street and continue as per the above directions. The number 01 (Sth Melbourne Beach bound) from Swanston Street in the city, or St Kilda Road. This will turn into Sturt Street, mentioned above, and if you get off just after the first abovementioned roundabout at the corner of Park and Moray Streets, return to the roundabout, turn right into Heather Street and continue as per the above directions.
Parking	Free off-street parking is readily available. Should you require a parking permit, please advise prior to your arrival or on check-in. Parking tickets issued to cars not displaying permits will be your responsibility.
Things To Do	The iPad is a stone's throw from many places of interest, including (walking distance): Albert Park Golf Course and Driving Range. Take a dip at the Sports and Aquatic Centre. Stroll around Albert Park Lake. Check out the MCG, Rod Laver and Telstra Dome. The Arts Centre and other brilliant galleries. Ride Melbourne’s famous trams into the busy CBD View the city from Eureka Tower, 285 metres above ground level. Visit South Bank Boulevard and enjoy a cruise down the Yarra River.
