Waratah Brighton Boutique Bed & Breakfast is a gracious luxury period accommodation in the heart of trendy Bayside Brighton south east of CBD Melbourne. Waratah Brighton is a gracious relaxed period home built originally around the 1880's as a small cottage house amidst a large market garden on Brighton Hill, known as the highest point in Brighton, to supply Melbourne with food and vegies in bygone times. Even today Waratah Brighton Boutique Bed & Breakfast is set on a beautiful large allotment, with tranquil private garden with three outdoor sitting and relaxing areas. The garden features a large swimming pool and a Hydro massage spa house for maximum six people. Waratah Brighton Boutique Bed and Breakfast is a single story luxury boutique style accommodation. Waratah Brighton has a spacious formal guest sitting room with a large dining table, gas log fire place, high ceilings, chandeliers, decorated with a delightfully eclectic European flair. A mixture of modern and antique furniture with decorative original artwork. The ambience is elegant, relaxed yet oddly comforting. Like everything else about our Bed & Breakfast, this display has been lovingly created to provide travellers like yourself with a refreshingly out of the ordinary experience. For the book worm there are a few hundred books, of various interests, to choose from the library and several book shelfs to read. There is also an informal sitting room with open fire place, leather lounges and Foxtel TV and direct access to a sun shaded outdoor entertainment area. The centre of Waratah Brighton B&B is the open style kitchen where you can have a conversation with the hosts. Here we will also serve a quick informal breakfast for the business guests who are on a tight schedule. Waratah Brighton B&B has a 4½ star rating with AAA. Waratah Brighton B&B is not suitable and has not been designed for children. Smoking Restrictions: Waratah Brighton B&B has a strictly non smoking policy environment indoors and outdoors. Waratah Brighton B & B is a non smoking property only and not suitable for people with a smoking habit. Disabled Access: No. There is access to a separate butler's type kitchen with complimentry coffee & tea facilities and a shared mini bar facility which is at extra costs. Breakfast Details: Included is a cooked gourmet breakfast, fresh cut fruit platter, bircher muesli, home made compote, gourmet jams, eggs at your choice, orange juice, teas and freshly brewed coffee. For early raisers we offer an informal continental breakfast in the kitchen area, by arrangement only. Melway page 76 G1 Taxi from Melbourne Airport takes approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic. We are 10 minutes walk from the Middle Brighton Railway station. Airport shuttle express direct to Waratah Brighton Bed and Breakfast or Airport Bus to New Street / corner of Bay Street in Brighton. Courtesy pick up and drop off within Brighton is complimentry and need to be pre-arranged with hosts. Bus number 811/812 outside door. |
