Riverside Matakana offers 17 brand new luxury baches (described as the modern NZ iconic bach) each with their own well equipped kitchen and laundry, BBQ on every covered deck and a beautiful rural or river vista from expansive north facing decks. Complimentary internet connection. Every villa has the ability to sleep a total of 4 guests. Every villa contains a king bed, a dble sofa bed, 2 bathrooms and 2 singles in the attached sleepout. A couple have kingsize beds in the sleepout (subject to availability). Please see the bach layout plan in the photo gallery. A relaxing rural retreat for families, groups, leisure or corporate. Riverside Matakana is located in the heart of the Matakana Coast Wine Country. It is set amongst 40 acres of olive trees and grape vines, with private access to the Glen Eden River at Riverside Estate. Electronic security ensures your peace and quiet and with a tennis court, swimming pool and petanque court on site there is no need to leave. For the boaties and fisherpeople among us, our own private jetty and boat ramp allows you access to Sandspit and beyond to Kawau and Great Barrier Surrounded by Vineyards, Cafes, Art and Craft Galleries, and adjacent to the beautiful Kawau Bay, Riverside Matakana is the perfect stopover for anyone wanting to see all the sights or just relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings in this exciting area. These rates are 1-2 people sharing 1 bdrm.Max is 4a.Extra guest charge $30 per night.Bedding incl 1 King bdrm,1 double settee bdrm & 2 singles or 1 king in adj sleepout.2bathrooms,lounge,dining,full kitchen,BBQ every deck. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $30.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. | Getting There |
From Auckland CBD: Travel north along State Highway 1, 65 kilometres from the CBD. On reaching Warkworth turn right at the second set of traffic lights into Sandspit Road and immediately veer left into Matakana Road. Continue 7.8 kms and just before reaching Matakana Village turn right into Green Road. Travel 3.5km along Green Road until you arrive at 170 - Riverside Matakana. From the North: Travel south along State Highway 1, until you reach the first set of traffic lights at the northern side of Warkworth. Turn left at the traffic lights into Sandspit Road and immediately veer left into Matakana Road. Continue 7.8 kms and just before reaching Matakana Village turn right into Green Road. Travel 3.5km along Green Road until you arrive at 170 - Riverside Matakana. |
