Affordable and Friendly - the Classic Motel offers 12 ground floor units. Nine genuine one and two bedroom spacious family units. These units are completely self contained including full kitchen facilities. One deluxe and two standard studio units which have small kitchenettes with hotplates and microwaves. All units have queen size beds, SKY TV and DVD players are standard in all our units. Our complex has a solar heated swimming pool and a large private spa pool, plus playground for the kiddies. We are a pet friendly motel and you will be welcomed not only by the owners but also by Georgie the Ladradoodle and Fozz the cat! We are located five minutes from the CBD and all major sporting venues including Minogue Park Netball Courts, Waterworld and Waikato Stadium is a short walk away. We have an excellent restaurant just across the road and Indian, Thai, Pizza, Chinese and Fish and Chip takeaways 1 minute walk up or across the road. |

Hamilton is a wonderful base from which to explore the wider Waikato and surrounding areas. In addition to all the best Hamilton City attractions including our superb Hamilton Gardens, great Zoo, Waterworld, Mini Golf, Indoor Carts, Waipa Delta, wonderful river walks, restaurants, casino and excellent shopping, it is less than an hour to enjoy the West Coast beaches of Raglan (and great cafes), Waitomo Caves, climb Mt Pirongia. A little further afield and you can take an easy day trip to the beaches of the Coromandel Peninsula and Mt Maunganui, enjoy the thermal areas of Rotorua or see Lake Taupo and the majestic Huka Falls or explore the old gold mining areas of Waihi. |
