Igls is a typical village with authentic tyrolean hospitality, situated on a sunny plateau (900 m sea level) just 5 km out of the city of Innsbruck in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps. Meet and enjoy, combining important business with pleasure. Your clients will find International and Austrian cuisine, which has won many culinary distinctions over the years, including a prestigious Gault Millau award. Our “Maître de cuisine” creates with this team daily different dinners, speciality buffets and every day new meals for our À-la-carte restaurants. Restaurants, bar, lounge with open fire place, furnished with distinction and suitable for any occasion. All rooms are comfortably furnished in the Austrian style and equipped with every extra required for a relaxing stay: bath/shower/WC, radio, direct-dial telephone and cable TV (more than 30 programmes, as well as Premiere TV – free of charge) In an elegant and agreeable setting and covering an area of 700 sq., the complex broadens the range of leisure activities available and also adds to your personal contentment. It includes a large indoor swimming pool (20 m long and 28º C), a spacious sun-lounger and rest area with pool bar, sauna complex with a large sauna cabin, steam bath, diving area, Kneipp bath, Jacuzzi, rest and relaxation area. 2 solariums, Relax & Beauty Spa and hairdresser are available. Max occupancy 3 people at an additional EUR 50,00 per night, however 1 extra child 5 yrs and under can stay free using existing bedding. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults €50.00. Take a place in the sun! Igls - situated on a sunny terrace above Innsbruck - sea leavel 900 m - is only 5 km away from the capital of Tyrol. Igls has been imitated a lot but no one came up to , but you can reach the sympathetic village very easily: car: from motorway: exit Innsbruck Ost (from Germany, Salzburg, Vienna) to the Olympic Ice Stadium/fork:Igls, 4,5 km motorway exit Innsbruck West (from Arlberg, Fernpass, Germany,Switzerland) till Olympic Ice Stadium/fork:Igls, 4,5km Brennerautobahn (toll motorway), from Italy, exit Patsch/Igls, 3 km to Igls train: "J" bus: from Innsbruck centre (Marktplatz/Maria-Theresien-Str./Museumstraße), every 30 min, in the evening service hourly; Tram number 6: from Innsbruck -Bergisel, every hour, 13 min past the hour ( winter from Innsbruck Main Station, every hour, at the full hour (summer) airplane: from Innsbruck Airport 9 km to Igls, take the bus F into town or with the taxi directly to Igls |

Igls near Innsbruck is a typical village with authentic tyrolean hospitality, situated on a sunny plateau (900 m sea level) just 5 km out of the city of Innsbruck in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps. As a world famous summer and winter resort - Igls offers all sports- culture- and holidaying. Activities in and around Igls in summer: Igls has one of the most beautiful tennis courts of Tirol. Situated at the Kurpark you will find 3 indoor sand courts and one indoor squash court. Golf: Igls has 2 golf courses of the Golf club Innsbruck-Igls (golf course Sperberegg with 9 holes – 2 km from the Sporthotel – and the championship golf-course Rinn with its 18 holes – 7 km from the Sporthotel). Both courses are at the disposal for novice and experienced players (they have to be members of an official golf club). Golf Driving Range and target golf in Igls Together with our Austrian Champion in Golf (6x) Mrs. Ike Wieser is it possible to arrange a tournament. For this it’s not necessary to be a member of a golf club. The Driving Range is situated only 5 minutes away of the Sporthotel with 50.000 m². Zirbenweg (stone pine path) Patscherkofel – Glungezer: (open 5 July till 28 September 2003) This 7 km long, almost flat alpine stroll in the Patscherkofel-Zirmberg nature reserve at an altitude of 200 m takes you through a single stand of centuries-old stone pines. Unique mountain panorama with view across the Inn valley. Mountainbiking: The sun terrace above Innsbruck is simply perfect for mountain biking. At the new Mountainbike trail – start at the station of the Patscherkofel cable car (2 minutes away) you will have a circuit of 9,3 km and an altitude difference of roughly 300 m. A new trail will be from the Schutzhaus at the Patscherkofel to the peak. Summer Bobsledding at the Olympic Bobsleigh run you will have the experience of an exciting run through the famous loop and the labyrinth at over 100 km/h. A special attraction - where you speed down in a bobsleigh steered by an experienced driver. Costs: € 30,00 per person incl. certificate and insurance, welcome, visit of the run, bobsledding, glas of sparkling wine at finish. ·A visit of the famous alpine zoo in Innsbruck - it is an unique attraction for young and old. It is home for more than 2000 species of animals, exclusively native to the Alps. |
