The phone number is listed on your booking confirmation. 540 on Great South Road was newly opened in August 2006 with quality furnishings. All 27 units are located off a central covered passageway. The complex has a secure entry and exit system. The property is centrally located in Otahuhu, just a short drive to the airport(10 minutes), southern motorway and Sylvia Park (4 kms or 6 minutes), Grange & Auckland Golf Clubs (5 minutes), Auckland Spinal Unit and Middlemore Hospitals(5 minutes). Rainbows End and the WESTFIELD shopping centre are only 6 minutes drive away. We are within walking distance to a range of both European and Ethnic restaurants. Continental and cooked breakfast are available on site! 540 on Great South is situated on the major bus route with a stop at the gate, opposite is a 24 hour CALTEX service station. We are QUALITY assured by Qualmark and have a 4 star rating. Member of MANZ (Motel Association of NZ) and HOST ACCOMMODATION. We have 4 units with lovely large corner spa baths for that wonderfully relaxing soak. Because of these being limited, we are unable to guarantee that a spa bath unit will be available but if so, will be allocated on a first in first served basis. Additional costs will apply. | Getting There |
By car from the SOUTHERN MOTORWAY, take the PRINCES STREET OTAHUHU EXIT. Heading into Otahuhu, go down to the third set of traffic lights and turn left (Atkinson Ave) and drive about 1 kilometre. Atkinson Ave runs straight into Great South Road. 540 on Great South is located on the left, opposite Caltex 24hr Service Station, The Hangi Shop and the 'Monument'. From the AIRPORT, take the George Bolt Memorial Drive route and turn right into Kirkbride Road. Follow this road (it changes name to Massey and then Mangere Road) until it makes a T intersection with Great South Road and turn left. We are on the right hand side soon after this intersection, diagonally opposite the Monument. If travelling by taxi from any location ensure you advise the driver it is Great South Road Otahuhu. The road is very long and the numbers change 4 times. There is in fact four 540 Great south Road sites.Best direction to taxi driver is near Mangere Road. |

| Things To Do |
A walk through the Otahuhu shops (3 minutes) is worthwhile. You will find a large array of ethnic and Island shops with very good prices. Newly opened shopping complex, movie theatres and eateries at Sylvia Park are exactly 4 kms straight up the road. Rainbows End is approximately 6 minutes drive South. Activities like Sky Tower, Auckland Zoo, Museum of Transport and Technology or beaches are approximately 25 minutes drive. There is an EXCELLENT Sunday market 5 minutes walk away! |
