The hotel overlooks the beautiful and tranquil Queens Park which was constructed in memory of Mary Queen of Scots on the site of the famous Battle of Langside in 1568. The hotel is a short rail journey from the heart of Glasgow and only fifteen minutes by car from Glasgow International Airport. The Ewington hotel boasts 43 individually designed bedrooms ranging from King size suites to four poster bed rooms. All rooms are in keeping with the character of the building throughout this Victorian era property. The bedrooms, many featuring period style furniture and furnishings, have all the modern comforts of en suite bathroom, colour television, radio, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities. *** PLEASE NOTE - From the 23rd December 2009 until the 3rd January 2010 the hotel can only provide Breakfast. Take junction 20 westbound from the M8 or junction 21 eastbound, onto the A77. Go over four sets of traffic lights and turn left onto Allison Street. Turn right onto Victoria Road and then right again at the park gates onto Queens Drive. The Hotel sits on the right. |
