The hotel which was taken over in 2002, has been completely refurbished reaching the highest standards for hospitality. Small but functional, Garden Hotel is on the first floor of a modern building facing the sea and with a view over the park. All of our 14 bedrooms have balconies, en-suite bathrooms, showers, hairdryers, telephones, safety boxes, satellite TV, wi-fi connection free, mini bar and air conditioning. Internet point free **Plase be advised that during the Winter time, only the roof garden rooms are available. The check in timetable and the other hotel services will be restricted.** |

| Getting There |
The hotel is located in the pedestrian area in the centre of Levanto, a few steps from the beach. All our guests have a special permit to drive to the front of the hotel and to park briefly upon arrival and departure. By car: A12 Genoa – Livorno motorway, exit Carrodano / Levanto. After the pay toll, follow the signposts to Levanto (12 km). Once in the town, there are directions for the hotel. By train: Turin – Genoa – Rome line, stop at Levanto train station. Most regional and some intercity trains stop at Levanto. There is a frequent local train service to the Cinque Terre. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the railway station; alternatively, taxis are available at the station. Airports: Genoa and Pisa are the closest airports (about 100 km from Levanto). |

| Things To Do |
Levanto used to be a little village set amongst the rolling green hills and the crystal blue sea. Today not much has changed, its “jewels” are still conserved with the ancestral spirit by the local people. Impressive rocks and sandstone banks welcome the visitors from the sea; the paths are hidden by chestnut and pine trees, scented by thymus and spartium junceum – “the solar broom “, and shaded with red arbutus and arboreous heather. As in many Ligurian churches, the “leit motiv” is expressed with a rich Roman architectural patrimony. Inside the temples, the paintings witness the splendour of the 14th and 16th Genoese century, while the smaller tabernacles offer their humble prayer to the Lord. Going back in time one can find the castle, the dock and the tower walls; all remnants of the strenuous defence and the will for survival by the local people, always linked to the sea but impossible to ignore the call of the land. The rural life still continues today, with vineyards and olive groves, but above all in the cellars that preserve the barrels and wine-skins, full of the precious liquid you will be able to taste in visiting the small villages surrounding Levanto. Levanto is in a very good position for visit Cinque Terre and Portovenere as well Portofino and Santa Margherita |
