Spanning over 60 acres, the lake Kenyir Resort & Spa stands majestically on the banks of Lake Kenyir, Malaysia’s largest lake, and is surrounded by the world’s oldest tropical rainforest. The 260,000 hectares lake contains 340 islands, with countless pristine cascading waterfalls and rivers from which flows crystal clear water from the surrounding highlands. Lake Kenyir Resort & Spa is located on the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia, in the traditional heartland state of Terengganu. A leisurely 50min drive (60km) from the Kuala Terengganu airport, it is the only international class resort located on Lake Kenyir. It is situated next to Pengkalan Gawi, the main entry to Lake Kenyir and the nearest access point to Taman Negara. Lake Kenyir Resort & Spa comprises 135 individual timber chalets of traditional Malay architectural designs that blend with its natural and cultural surroundings. Nestled in lush forests and landscaped gardens, each chalet is secluded and offers modern amenities and facilities. Most chalets have a commanding view of Lake Kenyir, and its large and spacious interior as well as its warm ambience provides a comfortable sanctuary to rest and admire the panoramic views of the lake, rainforest and hills. |

The resort is accessible by air with daily flights by Malaysian Airlines and Air Asia from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Fireflyz from Penang Airport that land at Kuala Terengganu Airport. Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu - 45 minutes by Air / Penang to Kuala Terengganu - 65 minutes by Air. Then Kuala Terenganu 60 km (50 minutes drive) Kuala Lumpur to Resort - 520 km (6 hours drive) Penang to Resort - 563 km (8 hours drive) |
