Pukekohe's largest Motel, a 10 minute walk to Pukekohe Town Centre and a 5 minute drive from Bombay interchange at SH1 and the motorway. Very handy to Pukekohe Park Raceway for motor racing and horse racing. Close to Hampton Downs and Karaka also.

This is an excellent location for business or leisure travellers being 35-40 minutes to Auckland Airport or Central City, yet out of the city rush. Pukekohe is largely a rural town on the outskirts of the Auckland Super City. We have a large range of sporting facilities close by and there are excellent resturants, cafes and clubs in our town.

Built in five blocks, the units are nicely spaced around the boundry of the property to give the feel of openness and calm. The wrap around design makes the property very secure and although not enclosed the central area is in lawn for you to relax on and is like a courtyard. There are some toys there for the children (big and small). Our premier block is located at the back of the property and are the quietest rooms.

Featuring 26 premier and standard smoke free units, including studio units, one bedroom units and a two bedroom unit. All one and two bedroom units have kitchen facilities, as do a number of our studios. We also have a range of studios and one bedroom units with spa baths.

This is Pukekohe's only Motel with a small gym and a solar heated swimming pool. Within the swimming pool enclosure is a grassed barbeque area and adjacent lawn. These extra facilities are free of charge to our guest. We are also a pet friendly motel and believe that children pay a child price until they have left secondary school.

Your host, Carol Murphy is a local person who left Pukekohe for the Waikato in 2000 and has purchased this business and moved back in 2012. Along with her staff they have alot of knowledge and will ensure you enjoy Franklin's Country hospitality with all the comforts of home.

Getting There	From Auckland Airport follow the signs to Manukau or the Southern Motorway. You will come past Manukau City centre and straight on to the Motorway to Hamilton. Straight down here until you see the BOMBAY turnoff. Exit 471 Don't be tempted to come off at the Pukekohe/Waiuku turnoff. At the Bombay turnoff - turn right to Pukekohe - follow this road for 6kms. You will see the Welcome to Pukekohe sign and the 50KM zone sign - we are about 100metres up on the right hand side. From the South. Travel north until the Bombay off ramp. Exit 471. Turn left to Pukekohe - follow this road for 6kms. You will see the Welcome to Pukekohe sign and the 50KM zone sign - we are about 100metres up on the right hand side. Taxis and shuttles are available.
Parking	Off street car parking is available for 1 car per unit booked. This is free of charge. Please let us know if you have a large vehicle or trailer.
Things To Do	Franklin Country is a short stop from Auckland City but allows for a touch of Country. Visitors to the area can enjoy the rolling hills, black sand beaches, Hunua Falls. Visit the Simunovich Olive Estate for their olive products or dine at the acclaimed "Bracu" restaurant. Take some time out for you at Pure Indulgence and enjoy our local day spa experience. Visit the Arts & Cultural Centre to see the works of local artists or try the Franklin Country Arts trail. Try a round of Golf at one of the local courses or try the driving range at Twin Oaks. The area boasts a number of wineries.
