Aside from the 4½ star quality you'll find indoors, Owl Head's most outstanding feature is outdoors: its setting overlooking the vineyards and across the valley to the ranges surrounding Gulgong and Mudgee. Naturally we've done our best to enable you to take full advantage of this - we're often referred to as 'the house of glass'. With indoor/ outdoor ambience, cosy log fire, swimming pool, air conditioning, wood fired pizza oven, and landscaped gardens - make Owl Head Lodge the perfect rural retreat for a weekend away, mid week stay or longer holiday break. Owl Head Lodge is well signed. From Gulgong take the Wellington Road for 3 klms and turn left onto Bergalin Road for 1 klm. Please call for assistance. Mudgee is only 20 minutes away with an airport, taxi's or car hire is available at Mudgee. Trains from Sydney, transfer to Country Link Coaches to Gulgong, and pickup can be arranged, however a car is advisable, for personnal use. |
