Situated in 2.5 acres of parklike grounds with magnificent views of Mt Ruapehu, Snowy Waters Lodge offers budget accommodation suitable for school groups, sports teams, social club functions and family reunions. Located just off State Highway 4, 11kms from Ohakune (25 minutes from Turoa skifield), 32kms from National Park Village (45 minutes from Whakapapa skifield) and 37kms from Pipiriki (the Whanganui River). Snowy Waters Lodge features central heating, unlimited hot water for showers, a drying room for ski/snowboard equipment and a spa pool to relax in after a day tramping, skiing or kayaking. Guest rooms consist of doubles, twins, triples (bunks + single) and quads (2 x bunks) and can accommodate up to 33 people. All rooms are non-smoking. A bottom sheet, pillow and pillow case are provided. Facilities such as kitchen, lounge, games room and bathrooms are shared. Our kitchen comes complete with fridge/freezer, electric oven/stove, microwave, toaster, zip/kettle, cutlery, crockery, pots/pans and cooking utensils. Our lounge has a TV, books, boardgames and cards and our games room features a pool table, table tennis and darts. Our sunny north facing outdoor entertainment area is perfect for enjoying a BBQ with friends or kicking a ball around with the kids. Exclusive hire of Snowy Waters Lodge is also available for private functions. |

Walk the Tongariro Crossing, kayak, mountain bike or jetboat to the Bridge to Nowhere Rates are for 12 people. Snowy Waters Lodge is located at number 58 Ward Sreet, Raetihi (just off State Highway 4). From National Park Village travel south 32kms to Raetihi. Turn right before the Caltex station and take your first left onto Ward Street. From Ohakune travel West on the Ohakune-Raetihi Road 11kms. Head straight through the intersection and take your first left onto Ward Street. |
