Takapuna is also easily accessible by ferry and bus from Downtown Auckland. Regular bus service operates to Auckland City. Easy motorway access to explore all Auckland region has to offer.
Parking Off-street car parking is available to all guests free of charge.
Things To Do The Emerald Inn is located 50 metres from the beautiful Takapuna Beach. The beach is recognised as one of the region's finest, and provides safe swimming and glorious sand for beach walks and jogging. Takapuna enjoys a relaxed seaside ambience, unexpected in the thriving Auckland Metropolis.. the North Shore has a number of excellent sport and recreational activities. Art and Craft markets are located a 5 minute walk from the Inn and are open every Sunday morning. Enjoy a day trip to Matakana wine country in the north or Kumeu in the west. Nothing is too far from the Shore - 45 minutes west to Piha Surf beach and the bush-clad Waitakere Ranges, or north to Snow Planet and Waiwera Hot Pools.
