Just a couple of hours in the car and you could be skiing on one of New Zealand’s premier slopes, enjoying the thrill of hot air ballooning, visiting the unique Antarctic Centre, bungy jumping, jet boating, whale watching, playing in the boutique casino or touring one of Canterbury's fine vineyards.
