You are a mere 80 metres from one of Australia's premiere beaches, and a short ferry ride to the world famous Sydney Harbour or the centre of Sydney. This perfect location gives you the opportunity to experience Australian beach culture at its best, while only being seven miles from the heart of the city. Whether it's surfing, shopping, wining and dinning or just relaxing on the beach, Manly truly has it all. | Getting There |
Airport: There are three ways to find us from the airport. 1. Take the airport shuttle bus to Manly, which will drop you off at our door and costs around $30 per person cheaper with more people. The journey will take approximately 30 min. Points for Manly airport bus are as follows - International: Terminal 1. Shuttle Bus meeting point between exit gate A and McDonalds (inside the terminal). Domestic: Terminal 2 & 3. Inside the terminal at luggage carousel five. 2. You can also take the train to Circular Quay. As you walk out of the train station at Circular Quay the ferry terminal will be right in front of you, walk to terminal 4 and purchase your ticket to Manly. This is the best way to go because the ferry ride takes you past two of Sydney's most famous landmarks, The Sydney Harbour Bridge and also the Sydney Opera House. The whole trip takes around 45 min. Also you can take the jet cat which only takes 15 mins. When you arrive in Manly we are only a two minute walk from the ferry terminal, just walk directly across the road from the ferry terminal onto the pedestrian plaza and walk up the left hand side until you get to the new Brighton Hotel, turn left and we are located just around the back of the hotel. The whole cost of the trip is around $15. 3. A taxi from the airport will cost around $50. Driving from the north of Sydney: You will want to get onto the pacific highway then follow the signs to Dee Why. From Dee Why turn right onto the main road called Pittwater Road and follow it all the way to Manly. When you arrive in Manly turn left down Sydney Road and you will find us on the pedestrian plaza at the end of this road. Driving from the south of Sydney. Whether you are travelling along the Hume Highway or the Princess Highway just follow the easy to understand road signs to the Harbor Bridge/North Shore. Once you have crossed the bridge follow more signs to Manly and you will find us at the end of Sydney Road on the pedestrian plaza. |
| Parking |
There are a number of side streets close by, which are free to park in. There are also a number of Council car parks which are safe and secure. The cost per day is approximately $20. |
