Lillington Villa is set up to provide a home away from home. The family apartment sleeps five (queen and twin bedrooms plus a third single bed in a porch between the bedrooms and the bathroom) and has a bath as well as a shower. The double apartment sleeps three (queen and single beds in the one room) and has a shower bathroom.

Each apartment has SKY TV, video or DVD, CD, security and fire alarms and a telephone. Each is fully equipped including full kitchen, dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer. Each is warm and sunny but has good heating for cold spells.

Each of our three apartments has its own walled courtyard and separate entrance. Hosts live in the third apartment and are handy to give you advice or assistance as requested while leaving guests total privacy in their own apartments.

Lillington Villa is very centrally placed – about 10 minutes by car from the centre of the city - and is on two good bus routes and a suburban train route. There are good shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Check In Instructions Check in and out times can be varied on request at time of booking. Very early and very late are not a problem.

Getting There From the airport follow the directions to Auckland – there is only one bit to watch out for – a left hand turn off the airport motorway, but it is well signposted. Eventually you end up in Manukau Road (20-25 minutes). There is a major crossroads with lights as Manukau Road crosses Balmoral Road. Then start watching for a Caltex petrol station on your right and very shortly after turn right into Market Road – it does a little loop around a small park then becomes a long straight road. Continue until you reach the intersection with Great South Road (recognisable by a group of shops) and turn right into Great South Road.

If you are coming by the southern motorway exit at Market Road. From the north turn right into Market Road, from the south turn left. Then turn left at the lights into Great South Road.

Go through a set of pedestrian lights (ie. no intersecting road) and take the next left into Omahu Road. First right turn into Lillington Road and pass Platina Street and Armadale Road on your left.

Very soon after passing Armadale road turn right into our driveway – beside a buff-coloured wall and with a big sign saying 24, Lillington Villa. Note that 24 is rather oddly up the drive behind 26. Go up the drive and park against the wall furthest from the house. Our entrance is on a bridge between the house and the garage and has a small notice on it saying Flat 1 Carol and Peter Dossor.

Parking Each apartment has a lock-up garage and one other off-street parking space.
Things To Do Easy access to all Auckland central attractions, good shops and restaurants. Hosts will provide pamphlets and personal advice on where to go.
