BOOKINGS MADE LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE ARRIVAL-YOU MUST CALL CASTLE STONE INN FOR CONFIRMATION Castle Stone Inn is a character sandstone lodge set in almost an acre of beautiful gardens. Centrally located to all the Dandenong Ranges has to offer, including Puffing Billy and so much more. Castle Stone Inn is situated across the road from some of the best walking tracks in the area. Take the 4 kilometer round trip to Kallista Village walking alongside the Sassafras Creek. Stop for some lunch or just a drink before heading back, or, for the more adventurous there are many longer walks. Spend the day exploring the Dandenongs, or spend a peaceful day at Castle Stone Inn where you are welcome to wander through the garden, find a quiet spot to relax and spend an afternoon in the Conservatory while enjoying an uninterrupted view of the garden. Our 3 luxury suites all have their own special features:- 'Shakespeares' decorated in burgundy and black tudor style with its own queen size 4 poster bed, antiques and leather chesterfield chairs allows you to relax in the spa while you enjoy the view of the gas log fire. The full length balcony overlooks the garden, which is the perfect spot to relax on a warm evening or to enjoy breakfast with the birds in the morning. 'Romeos' with its own draw bridge entrance and Romeo and Juliet balcony is perfect for incurable romantics. A corner spa set in stone, antique queen size brass bed, chesterfield leather couch and gas log fire ensure evenings of relaxation and romance. 'Colonial' with its 3 separate living areas and larger kitchen makes it perfect for longer stays. It is reminicent of the Colonial times but with modern comforts. Lovely queen size brass bed, separate ensuite, lounge and kitchen/dining area. A favourite with many of our guests who are amazed at its spaciousness and value for money. Breakfast ingredients are supplied to your suite so you are able to prepare your breakfast at your leisure. **PLEASE NOTE**: - The property is not suitable for children under the age of 12. - All are rooms NON smoking |

| Getting There |
Train - catch the Belgrave train from Melbourne. From Belgrave Station the Monbulk bus passes the property. The Camms Road stop is just a short walk from Castle Stone Inn. Taxis are also available near Belgrave Station. Car - Take the M1 out of the city heading towards the South Eastern Suburbs. Take the Burwood Road/Highway exit and proceed towards Ferntree Gully, continue on Burwood Highway to Belgrave. Continue along Monbulk Road (same road with a name change)in the direction of Monbulk. You will pass through Kallista Village, continue along Monbulk Road and you will see Lyrebird Falls Reception Centre on your left. Approximately 700 metres on your left you will see Kays Picnic Ground. Castle Stone Inn is 100 metres on the right. |
