WEEKEND BOOKINGS - No check-in/out possible on Saturdays. A minimum 2 NIGHT booking of BOTH FRI & SAT NTS BOOKED TOGETHER is required on ALL weekends. Note - If you book just the Sat nt, you will also be charged for the Fri nt. If you make a 2nt booking of Sat & Sun nts you will also be charged for the Fri nt. If you make a 2nt booking of Thur & Fri nts you will also be charged for the Sat nt. LONG WEEKEND BOOKINGS - A minimum 3 night booking of Fri, Sat & Sun nts is required on all long weekends. Stonewell Cottages is a unique waterfront vineyard retreat especially for couples looking for short romantic rendezvous and extended, rejuvenating escapes. Centrally located in South Australia’s most prestigious wine growing region -the Barossa Valley, just 3 minutes drive from Tanunda, and only 60 minutes drive from Adelaide; a tranquil world away from stresses and hectic schedules awaits you. The cottages are hidden away in the vines of Stonewell Vineyards and overlook a picturesque private lake. Choose to stay in the Haven Spa Retreat Cottage, The Hideaway Cottage or Cupid’s Cottage. All have lake views and private facilities including - soothing 2 person spas, queen and king sized beds, comfy lounges with cosy wood fires, new LCD TVs, new kitchens with granite benchtops and Miele appliances. Wake up to the serenade of the birds with a long, lazy breakfast on the verandah. Feed the friendly ducks, enjoy a lazy picnic & country walks, row to the island gazebo, throw in a fishing line or go for a bike ride. * NO ONSITE RECEPTION - guests must contact Stonewell Cottages via ph number provided on booking form 24 hours prior to arrival to obtain personal security code to access the cottage. DIRECTIONS TO STONEWELL COTTAGES: The cottages are located 3km out of Tanunda in the regional area of Stone Well. Please bring these directions with you, to ensure you are able to find us easily! Stay on main sealed roads. If using GPS do not allow it to take you via dirt roads. DIRECTIONS FROM ADELAIDE(via Sturt Highway) Take Main North Road from the city. As you approach Gawler, continue straight ahead to the Barossa Valley follow signs: Barossa Valley Nuriootpa, Sturt Highway. (do not veer left into Gawler) Continue for approx. 13km from Gawler, turn right onto Gomersal Road (watch for large green sign: Gomersal Road, Tanunda) After approx. 15km, you will approach Tanunda and come to the end of Gomersal Rd. Turn left at the T-junction, which takes you onto the main street of Tanunda, Murray Street. DIRECTIONS FROM TANUNDA After turning off Gomersal Road onto Murray Street, continue along the main street for 1.5km. Next turn left onto Elizabeth Street (which is just before the rotunda). After the public swimming pool, turn right onto Langmeil Road. Next turn left over the bridge onto Smyth Road. At the end of Smyth Rd you will come to a T-junction - turn right onto Stonewell Road. Continue 1km down Stonewell Road and on the right you will see a large blue sign with the Stonewell Cottages sliver diamond logo and stone entrance way - this is the driveway entrance for the Haven Spa Retreats & the Hideaway Cottage. The Haven Spa Retreats is the first cottage – for Haven Spa Retreat 1, parking and entrance is on the left-hand side and for Haven Spa Retreat 2, parking and entrance is on the right-hand side. The Hideaway is the second cottage, closest to the water. For Cupids Cottage, continue further along Stonewell Road, past the main entrance to the other cottages, and take the next road to the right Mattiske Road. Driveway is 400m down this road on the right. Watch for small blue sign and stone entranceway.
