| Getting There |
Holly Homestead is conveniently located 1.5km north of the Franz Josef township on State Highway 6 (the main road). GPS reference for car navigation systems is 2900 Franz Josef Highway. Travelling from the south (Wanaka/Queenstown) drive towards north through the Franz Josef township and we will be on your left hand side, immediately north of the Franz Josef Top 10. Allow 4 hours driving time from Wanaka. Travelling from the north (Hokitika/Greymouth) then as you are approaching Franz Josef you will see various signs for local operators. A short distance after the Tatare River, we will be on your right hand side. Allow 2 hours driving time from Hokitika. If travelling by coach, then please ask the driver to drop you off at our gate and let us know which service and ETA so that we can assist you with luggage. |

| Things To Do |
You are allowed to rest, but there's also a wide choice of activities from mild walks to thrilling sky diving. Most activities are half day, with some full day options for glacier hikes and ice climbing. The activities are available year round and include horse trekking, quad bikes, kayaking, bird watching, night time kiwi tours, day time bird watching, scenic flights, glacier heli hikes, glacier hikes, Hukawai Glacier Centre with 10 metre indoor ice climbing wall and audio visual displays. Relax in the new Glacier Hot Pools and also pamper yourself with a massage. |
