Hello and welcome to the Santa Maria Motel in Rotorua. We are an old, well established Motel with the first units being put on site in the 50s. Our customers just keep coming back, some have been using this Motel for 30+ years, each customer has use of our spa pool - great for all year round pleasure and seasonal heated swimming pool! Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk in all units on arrival. Sky Tv in all units We have 8 units, a good mixture of both family and studio units. |

Full Kitchen facilities inc washing machine. This lovely cottage, reputedly built during the 1930's for the gardener. Rates are for 4 persons. | Getting There |
We are a 5 minute drive towards the Town Centre from Rotorua International Airport. We are just 100 mtrs from where Tarawera Road meets Te Ngae Road at the roundabout. If you are travelling South from Auckland, follow the Whakatane signs through Rotorua, when you leave the City Centre, we will be 3-4 minutes on your left hand side, just past the Ngapuna shops and before the roundabout. If you are travelling North from the Taupo area, turn right at the first roundabout in Rotorua, follow the road to the end and then turn right, we are situated a couple of minutes on the left hand side. |

| Things To Do |
We are situated adjacent to the Redwoods (Whakarewarewa Forest)with the visitor centre being a short walk away. We are an 8KM drive from the Blue and Green Lakes, the Burried Village is a little further along the same road as is the Mount Tarawera lookout and Lake Tarawera itself. Okere Falls is just 15 minutes drive from here. A visit would not be complete without sampling our Maori culture (hangi and concert), FREE pickups from our motel. For a great view of the city try the Skyline Skyride, where you can also enjoy great food, or try the luge rides. Visit the Agrodome, Paradise Valley & Fairy Springs, Te Puia thermal park, plus much more. Further a field, we can book Jet Boating, Dolphin Watching or even a trip to White Island (New Zealand's only active marine volcano) We can book the many attractions in advance for you if need be. |
