The Locanda Ca de Duxi is located in Riomaggiore, first town from the south in the "Cinque Terre". Famous village where its coloured and high houses climbing up the hills in contrast with the deep blue of the sea and the intense green of the country.

The Locanda's name derives from the first owner's family name that lived inside the building from about the 15th century to the first half of the 20th. This family is named Castiglione and like the other native families had several grounds and vineyards where they produced white wine and the mythical “Sciacchetrà” wine.
The ancient cellar where they produced the “Sciacchetrà” is now the Locanda Ca' dei Duxi's breakfast room, where it is possible to observe the classic brick vault and a part of a vault made of typical local stone.
From 1998, the building has been refurbished and transformed into the little hotel, by preserving the historical value.
Given that Ca' dei Duxi is placed in an historical building, the rooms have been conceived with some particular architectural and structural shrewdness in mind.
From the stairs, typically in Liguria, You can see the wall made of local stone.

The structure is composed of 10 rooms: all with private bathroom, tv, air conditioned, fridge-bar, heating.

"Locanda Ca' dei Duxi" has received the eco-quality recognition, a brand of environmental quality, from the Cinque Terre National Park.

Check In Instructions	Reception hours from 8am to 8.30pm. After these hours guests can ring the owner lodge for assistance which is next door to the reception. In case the room is still out of bounds guests can leave luggage in the reception area.

Getting There	How to find us by train: Once you are actually outside Riomaggiore's train station you turn right and take the tunnel. When you reach the end you will find yourself on the main street of the town, Via Colombo. After about 300 meters (point of reference on your right Pizzeria Veciu Muin), and followig the cobbled stone steps on your left, our reception is there at number 34/36 to attend you. -------------------------------------- By car coming from La Spezia, Cinque Terre starts at the end of the 1st tunnel along the main costal road. Going slowly down from the corner to Riomaggiore, it is possible to see Cinque Terre all together in a sight and to have a really wonderful view of village. Riomaggiore's.
Parking	We have a minimum number of parking places which are with an extra fee to the room rate. Vehicles cannot transit in the town therefore must be left at the parking places at the beginning of the village. There are parking facilities extra which are payable at the parking area, which is the only area where cars are permitted.
Things To Do	This is a typical sea resort bathing in the summer and offers trekking along paths that are mainly by the sea. Its a National Park zone. Train services reliable to visit all the five towns and easy to arrive in Genoa, Florence and Pisa.
