The Charles Robbins is located on the sheltered and picturesque shores of York Cove, near the mouth of the Tamar River. Each suite provides comfort, privacy, modern amenities and the ambience of a luxury resort, with warm and friendly Tasmanian hosting. The bathrooms and fully-equipped kitchens are beautifully appointed, with Italian porcelain and Tasmanian granite. Special features include deep two-person spa or sauna, luxury leather recliners and mini-bars. Our 1 Bedroom Spa suite has been specifically designed to provide guests with disabilities with an exceptionally high quality speciliased additional bathroom and also has an Emergency Call Button. The entire property is suitable for wheelchair access. Guests with disablilties are asked to identify their needs for the additional bathroom on booking. If both in-suite bathrooms are used, an additional $20 cleaning fee is charged. Enjoy your in-suite wide-screen home theatre where you can relax viewing a DVD, video or Austar. Provision of gourmet meal and BBQ packs may be arranged through Reception. George Town boasts its place as Australia’s oldest town, the site of Australia’s first pilot station complex, as well as its first series of light houses and Semaphore stations. Along with visiting these attractions see the newly opened Bass and Flinders Centre; take a self-guided tour of the many heritage sites in George Town, join the nocturnal penguin tour at Low Head, or visit one of the many wineries and vineyards on the Tamar Valley Wine Route.
