| Getting There |
Situated at 215 Victoria Road, Yering. Yering Gorge Cottages is 45.5 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. It is easily accessible by car from Melbourne by travelling via the Eastern Freeway and Eastlink to Ringwood then via the Maroondah Highway to Victoria Road in Lilydale. A left turn at Victoria Road and a pleasant 10 km drive will bring you to the entrance gate. Our driveway then leads to the cottages at the rear of our 650 acre farm and nature reserve. If travelling by hire car from the Airport you can take the drive from the Western Ring road to Greensborough, Eltham and then along the picturesque Eltham - Yarra Glen Road to Yarra Glen. Turn south along the Melba Highway for three Kilometres then turn right into McIntyre Lane. Travel past the Lilydale Airport to the (T) intersection at the end of Mc Intyre Lane then turn left for 500 metres along Victoria Road to our entrance gate on the right side of the road. If travelling by train you can catch the suburban train to Lilydale Station and catch a cab to our property or arrange a prior pick up from our courtesy bus. |

| Things To Do |
Walk the many bush tracks beside the Yarra or in the Yering Gorge spotting up to 100 species of native fauna. There are over 12 kilometres of walking tracks on the property. Go for a ride on one of our mountain bikes around the many tracks available on the property. Book a Hot Air Balloon Flight. Book a Winery Tour or visit the many wineries in the area at your own pace. Relax on your picturesque balcony enjoying a glass of local Yarra Valley wine. Visit the local Farmers Markets. Play golf at nearby courses Take a glider flight, joy flight or sky dive from Lilydale Airport Visit the many fine restaurants and eating establishments in the Yarra Valley. Visit the world renowned Healesville Sanctuary to see the platypus and the birds of prey exhibition. Go Horse riding. We are only an hours drive from the snowfields. |
