Mayfield on Montville is located right in the heart of the village, only a short stroll to experience all of Montville's unique shopping environment, including art galleries, craft shops, specialty shops, cafes and restaurants. Enjoy a glass of wine and dine at one of Montville's award winning restaurants without the hassle of driving home. Mayfield on Montville's apartments are all fully self-contained with full kitchen facilities. We also have one disabled motel style suite on the ground floor. The apartments facilities include separate bathroom with large spa tub, Balconies and outdoor futniture,reverse cycle air-conditioning, large colour television, large fridge, cook top and tea and coffee making facilities. Mayfield Holiday Apartments guests are also welcome to use the resort facilities at the Montville Mountain Inn, which consist of a saltwater lagoon swimming pool and full size wind protected tennis court. We can, by arrangement provide, picnic hampers, barbecue packs, breakfast baskets, flowers chocolates, day tours winery tours, restaurant pickups, massage and day spa packages. |

Check in is at reception of Montville Mountain Inn Resort opposite the apartments in the Main st. The office is located right next to the foot path and is open from 7am - 7pm 7 days, for late check in please advise on booking, under 'comments'. |

| Getting There |
Brisbane to Montville by car, travel north along the Bruce Hwy. Take the Landsborough-Caloundra exit, (Montville is approx. 30 min. drive from the exit) travel through Landsborough township follow the signs straight ahead to Maleny/Montville. Turn right into Montville/Maleny Road, at the sign post and proceed into Montville's Main St. The Montville Mountain Inn is located on the left hand side of the street at the crest of the rise, right in the shopping village itself. If coming by car from the north to Montville, travelling south along the Bruce Hwy. take the Nambour exit, (Montville is approx. 20 min. drive from the exit) and turn right at the roundabout heading into Nambour, proceed straight through the traffic lights and continue straight as the signs will direct you, all the way up and along the Mapleton-Montville tourist drive. Straight through Mapleton, proceed straight through Flaxton and straight onto Montville. Passing the Montville sign on your left, past the Pennyfarthing Tavern on your right the next business on your right is the Montville Mountain Inn. The nearest rail station is located in Palmwoods approx. 15 min drive from the South or Nambour approx. 20 min drive from the north, where the taxi service is available for pick-up. From Brisbane Airport: Mystic Mountain Tours will pick-up door to door with a cost in the region of $50 for one adult, $45 for two people and group discounts are avail. The trip will take approx. 75 minutes. From Sunshine Coast Airport: Mystic Mountain Tours will pick-up door to door for a cost in the region of $35 for one person $30 for two people. Group discounts available the trip will take approx. 35 minutes. |

Experience the myriad of art galleries, pottery studios, craft cottages, fashion houses, gift and antique shops, specialty shops and more, where you'll find that 'something different'. Montville offers award-winning restaurants, tea rooms and cafes, both indoor and out, where you can relax and enjoy a wide variety of menus, some ethnic, some traditional, all wholesome, and wherever possible using fresh local tropical produce. Adjacent 3km to the north, Kondalilla National Park invites visitors to experience its scenic waters, waterfalls and lush rainforest. Similarly 2km to the south, Baroon Pocket Dam with its tranquil waters provides picnic areas, walking tracks, fishing, sailing and canoeing. Within a short drive the choices for the adventure seeker are endless - only 30 minutes to surf some of the best breaks in Australia, 45 minutes to kayak through the Everglades, 20 minutes to go climbing the Glass House Mountains, 90 minutes to take a 4WD tour or scenic flight to Fraser Island or 30 minutes to play a round or two on a championship golf course. Only 30 minutes to try your hand at diving with the sharks at Underwater World's Oceanarium, kite surfing or adrenalin pumping wave jumping! You can't beat a day at Australia Zoo, TV's 'Crocodile Hunter's' home is only 25 minutes away, where you can watch amazing and unique animal presentations daily. |
