The hotel Boscolo Porro Pirelli, housed in a delightful 18th century villa, is situated just a few km from Varese and lake Maggiore, within easy reach of the new Milan trade fair and the Malpensa airport. Its 64 bedrooms are equipped with the most up to date technology, including Internet access. Among the hotel's facilities you will find 6 conference rooms, 3 restaurants and 250 parking spaces. Each room is different from the others, antique Oriental furniture within a refined and comfortable environment; the writing desk, the wardrobe and the headboard are works of wooden marquetry from Indonesia. Available special rooms for disabled guests, guests with pets, guests with allergies and non-smokers. All rooms are furthermore equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, satellite and Pay TV, mini bar, safe, Internet access both on TV and for PC and direct dial telephone. The en suite bathrooms have spa shower, hairdryer, heated towel rack, crystal wash basin, scale, slippers, bathrobe, magnifying heated mirror and individual extra-heater. Thanks to a complete reconstruction, this complex has retrieved its original splendour and now offers state-of-the-art facilities for international meetings, workshops and seminars, unforgettable vacations and private ceremonies. Surrounded by an ample park featuring an Italian garden, the complex also has a church with a 17th century altar. Le Serre nel Parco restaurant, seating up to 120 people and boasting glass walls facing the garden and pool, is the ideal place for a group lunch, a business or a family meeting. A rich buffet is served at a fixed price on Fridays and Saturdays (dinner) and on Sundays (lunch). The room can also be used for meetings and conferences. There is much to see in the vicinity, such as the lake Ceresio and its towns surrounded by greenery, with the possibility to reach Switzerland on water, the Butti museum in Viggiù, the modern art museum in Gallarate and the Varese avant-garde art museum housed in Villa Panza. |
