Surrounded by a beautiful Tuscan scenario The Hotel Granducato is built on a 14th century farm which has been completely restored and tastefully refurbished. The contemporary style of its furniture is harmonically mingling with the classic frame of a typical Florentine villa, creating a refine yet welcoming atmosphere. Two of the five halls at the entrance of the hotel, all decorated by original terracotta floors, host the reception and the bar. In the rooms, guests will be conquered by the wooden floors, the fine Italian fabrics and the elegance of the marbles. For their comfort and relax an open air swimming pool (open June - September) and a charming park are at their disposal. The Hotel Gran Ducato is conveniently located in the beautiful valley between Florence and Prato surrounded by a bright green Tuscan landscape. Within walking distance is the startling 14th century Villa Montalvo hosting period frescos, wooden decorations and a huge park. Just a few minutes away from the hotel, the Focognano wwf oasis is the ideal place for bird watching. In the city centre of Campi Bisenzio, just a few minutes drive from the hotel, are outdoor cafes and gourmet restaurants, theatres and cinemas, museums and historical buildings markets and typical shops, and of course shopping areas. The Gigli Commercial Center, one of the biggest of the whole country, is just a few minutes drive from the Gran Ducato. Hotel Granducato is also a gourmet paradise with one restaurant that will satisfy even the most exigent palates. In the remarkable setting of the restaurant, the chefs of the etoile institute of culinary art will pamper you with Tuscan specialties accompanied by famous wines from our well-stocked wine cellar.
