Armidale Pines Motel is Armidales new motel Located in the heart of town, next door to MacDonalds. Offering the latest in spacious accommodation with quality inclusions, this motel has 19 units that are more like a classy B & B than your typical compact motel unit. In fact, most of the people that have had a look at the completed units commented on the generous room size and comfortable furnishings. Travellers, students and business reps are all catered for with latest technology such as free ADSL internet access and Austar viewed on LCD televisions. They also have large, well lit writing desks where study time can be made that little bit less tiresome. Families are catered for with family suites that can accommodate 6 guests in one large room, or 5 guests in two bedrooms. Each room has its own air conditioner and LCD TV. If a restaurant is to your liking, then you are in the right place too as only a couple of minutes walk away are some of the best restaurants and pubs in Armidale. For the kids, and others, MacDonald’s, KFC and Subway are either right next door or just across the road as well as pizza shops 150 metres away. In fact, you could stay here for a week and have a different meal every night. We have also developed an appetising home made breakfast menu that is sure to offset that feeling of missing a hearty home cooked meal. |

Armidale Pines Motel is next to MacDonalds. Travelling north - follow the signs into town. Turn at right at the second round about after leaving the highway into Barney St. Travel along Barney St and turn left into Marsh St at the Taffic lights. We are just near these trafic lights, on the right Travelling south - follow the signs to the city centre. When you turn right into Marsh St at the traffic lights, we are about 800 metres down Marsh St just before the next traffic lights, on the left Transport to Armidale is also plentiful, with Countrylink and Greyhound being the main service providers to this area. |

Armidale is an attractive town lined with beautifully coloured trees during autumn. There are a host of museums and things to do in this lively town as well as an Aboriginal Cultural Centre. The landscape in this area is spectacular, with a couple of wonderful waterfalls. Heading east from Armidale are Dangar’s Falls and Wollomombi Falls, which are truly beautiful after rain. To find out more about the flora and fauna in the area you should join a tour. Transport to Armidale is also plentiful, with Countrylink and Greyhound being the main service providers to this area. Armidale has an abundance of sights and activities, something for everyone regardless of your age or fitness level. The region is home to elegant cathedrals, pastoral homesteads, heritage buildings, fascinating museums and galleries, as well as access to world heritage natural wonders. Around Armidale are a number of interesting half and full day trips to surrounding centres such as Uralla - haunt of the famous bushranger Thunderbolt, Walcha - with its spectacular sculptures and Guyra – top of the range. |
