All rooms have undergone refurbishment! Great Location! Walking distance to Summer Hill train station, bus-stops or travel by taxi. Close to Homebush (Sydney Olympic Park), City and Pay less than $40 for taxi to/from the airport. It takes roughly 15 minute to drive to Sydney’s CBD to enjoy the city’s finest shopping and entertainment area. To avoid the hassle of driving down to the city and finding a place to park, take a bus down! There is a stop right in front of the lodge. Alternatively, walk to Summer Hill Train Station which is just a few blocks away. The Lodge is conveniently located near the Italian Quarter and Chinatown, perfect for dining. About 15 min drive from the Lodge you’ll be able to get to Flemington Market, Sydney’s best known market. With a 3 Star rating the lodge has 32 rooms consisting of Standard, Twin, Family and Spa rooms. Garden Lodge not only provides convenience, the lodge also provides various services and facilities. | Getting There |
By car: Travel west onto Parramatta Road (Route 31)from the city or Airport. After passing Flood St/West St intersection, keep left then turn left into Old Canterbury Rd. Then Turn Right in Barker St drive all the way straight until you reach a T-Junction, turn left on Tebbutt St. Drive all the way straight and then Turn Left on Marion St and drive all the way until you reach another T-Junction, Turn Left into Ramsay St. Drive all the way and you will reach Parramatta Rd again. Turn Left and you see Garden-Lodge Sydney on your Left right after Mobil Service Station. From the south-west, drive along the Hume Highway towards the City until it meets Parramatta Road, turn right at the lights and we are 500m on your left. By train: From Central Station take the Inner-West line or South line and stop at Summer Hill station, walk downhill 3 blocks to Parramatta Road (10 minutes approx) and turn right. Buses: From the city take the 461, 480 and 483 bus. These buses will drop you off at the bus stop right across from us. Taxis: From the city fares are approx. $15-$20. Taxis from airport are approx. $35-$40 |
