Directions from the West: Follow the M8 from Glasgow until it joins the Edinburgh City Bypass. Follow signs for A720 City Bypass Edinburgh South and East At the Sherrifhall Roundabout (5 miles further on) take 1st exit for A7 North/City Centre Continue following this road straight into the city At Cameron Toll Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Dalkeith Road Go straight on through all traffic lights Pass Royal Commonwealth Pool on your right As the road goes steeply downhill, turn right at the traffic lights at the crossroads, onto Holyrood Road Macdonald Holyrood is at the end of the road on the left hand side Directions from the South: Follow the A1 towards Edinburgh. Exit at junction for A720 City Bypass Take the 1st exit at the roundabout for Edinburgh West and North Follow this along to Sherriffhall Roundabout and take the 4th exit for A7 North/City Centre Then follow directions as above. Directions from the North: Drive south across the Forth Road Bridge and follow the motorway on about 5 miles into the City Centre At the Barnton Junction follow signs for the A720 City Bypass and Maybury Junction Follow this dual carriageway straight on & go straight over the next roundabout to the Maybury Junction. Turn right here, following signs for the City Bypass. At the Gogar Roundabout, take the 2nd exit - the beginning of the City Bypass. Follow on to the Sherriffhall Roundabout, and follow the directions as above. By Rail Edinburgh Waverley Train Station - ½ mile Edinburgh Haymarket Train Station - 1 mile By Air Edinburgh Airport - 8 miles Glasgow Airport - 55 miles Glasgow Prestwick Airport - 75 miles |
