Set in a waterside location on the Otago Peninsula, Kaimata Retreat offers boutique Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Built from on-site Macrocarpa timbers and finished with copper detailing and local stonework, the Retreat's glass walls and French doors open onto expansive wooden decks and water views.

Kaimata Retreat offers three bedrooms with ensuites. An additional single bed can be made available for the Korimako Room. Enjoy the privacy and ambience of Kaimata Retreat as a house booking or share facilities when you select rooms individually.

All rooms are north facing. Spacious open plan living areas and well equipped kitchen with fresh tea and coffee. Either self-cater or enjoy a three-course dinner with your private chef.
Evening dining is also available at Portobello Village, a 12 min drive from the Retreat.

There are complimentary daily newspaper and New Zealand magazine selection for your leisure reading.

For relaxation of other guests, we regret that we cannot accommodate children under the age of eight years. An exception to this condition is made when one group books the exclusive use of the Retreat (house booking).

Locally owned and operated, hosts reside in seperate accommodation on the same property.
