Bed of Roses has three ensuited rooms. The property has a remarkable location midway between the commercial centre and the historic stone store on the beautiful river basin. We are equidistant from the vilaage and the stone store. About 900 metres- easy walking distance. We are situated on the brow of the hill overlooking the area of the precinct. The location is superb. We have previously owned a five star establishment so know what is expected and involved. The guest wing of the building is pleasantly decorated in a French Country style and included in this wing is a separate guest lounge. TV is available and a guest computer can be made available. We are renowned for our breakfasts. We offer full breakfasts with a menu choice. The grounds are pleasant and there is outdoor furniture so you can enjoy the sun and relax. We offer three rooms. The Fluer de Rose room is a large queen sized bedroom ensuited with a bath and shower.Normal tariff is $295 per coulple. The Madame Vermont room is a queen sized bedroom with a marvelloue view down the hill to the historic area. The Monet Suite is set apart from the Bed and Breakfast wing and is a self contained unit within the cottage. Completely separate with its own entrance. This has a King Sized Bed situated in a bed/sitting room. There is a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. TV. You can walk to restaurants if you wish and our favourite walking distance one is The Landing situated opposite the historic Stone Store. Attractions abound in this area. Their is a significant touch of history touch of history in the area. Steamboat cruises. Golf and a choice of courses. Shopping in the best commercial town in the area. Art studios and talented artsts. Out in the countryside an abundance of fruit to buy. On Sunday mornings there is a Farmers Market from where you can acquire fresh produce of a wide variety. Breads, Fruit, Smoked eel, Crayfish, Jams, Pates. The list goes on. |
