**Please note, renovations to the pool area will be occuring between 25 July - 2 August 2013. During this time, the pool area will be closed however other pool facilities will be available for guest use, all within a 2-5 min walk from the hotel. Additionally, there will be slight changes to the operation of the Pool Terrace Bar & Restaurant during this time. We expect there to be low-level noise during the commencement of works (25/ 26/ 27 July) and slight materials odour (28 July – 1 August) however all work will be conducted between the hours of 9am – 4:30pm.

The only Whitsundays Island with its own commercial airport, Hamilton Island has direct flights daily from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns, with Jetstar, Virgin Blue and Qantas. Regional charter flights can also be organised from Mackay, Proserpine and Airlie Beach.

Ferries sail to Hamilton Island throughout the day from Shute Harbour, on the mainland.

If you’re travelling to Hamilton Island from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, coaches run to Airlie Beach, a short local coach trip from Shute Harbour’s ferry jetty. The Sunlander train runs four times a week from Brisbane and Cairns to Proserpine, with coach connections to Shute Harbour and the Hamilton Island ferry.
