Sealandings is a new purpose built Bed and Breakfast opened in June 2006. Evocative of bygone colonial days the three well appointed guest rooms each have access via their shady verandah to the pool and garden area. All have luxurious ensuites(one with spa) airconditioning and tea making facilities. The sumptuous breakfasts served on the verandah offer your choice of local yoghurts and fruits or a more traditional English cooked breakfast. Enjoy your fresh fruit juice whilst watching our bird life among stately gum trees and behind, boats bobbing at anchor. Located in the delightful seaside hamlet of Tuan, under three hours drive north of Brisbane and twenty minutes drive south of the heritage city of Maryborough, Sealandings features views to Fraser Island and is adjacent to national parks where native flora and fauna abound. |

| Getting There |
Guests arriving by rail at Maryborough or by air at either Maryborough or Hervey Bay airports may use our private pickup service for no extra charge. Honeymoon couples have choice of free pickup from their reception venue in the Fraser Coast area. Driving north from Brisbane on the Bruce Highway , take the Tin Can Bay Road at Gympie. Travel about 45km then turn left at Maryborough sign.Continue for 40km through beautiful forest scenery to T intersection. Turn right to Tuan and follow B&B signage. If travelling south from Maryborough follow Tin Can Bay, Cooloola Coast Road to Tuan/Boonooroo, about 25km.Turn right to Tuan following B&B signage to Sanctuary Place, near boat ramp. |

| Things To Do |
Boating with deep water access at all times to the beautiful Great Sandy Straits where excellent fishing and crabbing conditions prevail. Fraser Island 8km away. Admire the sealife including dugongs,porpoises, seaturtles,stingrays and an abundance of seabirds. Bowls & golf clubs located 4km. Both licenced and serve meals. Tennis courts available at no cost. Whale watching (in season). Bushwalking and birdwatching along unspoiled level tracks through parks and forest or along the picturesque seafront. Barbecue facilities available at Sealandings and on the foreshore (about 150m). Swimming in private pool or at Tuan's pretty beach. Large plasma television and a variety of DVDs/videos may be enjoyed by guests in our upstairs lounge. Board games and cards may be requested at any time. The library is accessible for guests to select from our large collection of books. |
