Corinium Roman Villa is modelled on the Roman Villas found at Pompeii. Its central location makes it an ideal place from which to visit the many attractions of the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is en route to Kangaroo Island. The villa with its 3 apartments is set in 43 acres on a high plateau with beautiful views all around. It has 400 mm rammed earth walls with cedar French doors and brass fittings. Each of the three two person apartments is spacious and while the building has an ancient rustic Roman appearance the interior decor and fittings are modern minimalist. Each has Q/S bed, wood stove, spa in bedroom area, kitchenette, bathroom and a private verandah with BBQ. There are several restaurants and cafes within 10 minutes of the property. Local attractions include pristine beaches, rolling hills, bush walks, dive site (HMAS Hobart), wineries, conservation parks, art galleries and shops. For the indulgant we can arrange a relaxation or aromatherapy massage. |

Corinium Roman Villa is about one hour South of Adelaide. By car, take the Main South Road and simply follow it until you arrive in Yankalilla, then turn left along the Victor Harbor road. Travel approx 8kms along this road which winds uphill. At the crest of the hill you will see a crossroad and on the left hand side the Nosworthy Road sign and a blue and white B&B sign for Corinium Roman Villa. We are 1.6 km along this road on the right hand side. |
