Hotel Carlton Mill is situated at 19 Bealey Ave, opposite Hagley Park, & easy (1km) walking distance to Casino, Botanical Gardens, Museum, Art Gallery. Short walk to Merivale Shopping Mall. The city centre is a 20 minute walk. Shopping in the city centre is currently in the Re:Start Cashel Mall with Container Shops & Ballantynes Department Store. Only 10 minute drive to the airport. This centrally located hotel has Hotel Studio rooms, Motel Studio rooms, One-Bedroom Suites with Queen or Double/Single bed configurations, and Family Suites. All have Tea, Coffee, & Toastmaking facilities, Television, Telephone and Fridge. Some have cooking facilities (Hotplate & Microwave.) Rooms are serviced on a daily basis to make your stay more comfortable. An Express Room Service breakfast is avaialable on request from Reception Desk @ $9-25 per person. On-site Restaurant "Strawberry Fare" is open 7 days for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Our Reception staff are happy to advise of alternative Cafes & Restaurants close by.

Getting There	If you are flying into Christchurch and require transport to our Hotel recommend you use a Gold Band or Blue Star taxi, or a shuttle van. Driving from the airport travel the main route Memorial Avenue which leads onto Fendalton Road when approaching Hagley Park junction use the left lane turn left to Harper Avenue travel 1Km to the first major junction indicate because we are right there on that junction on the left side of the road Travelling from the south continue up Blenheim Road about 5Kms at the end of Blenheim vere right over the Flyover when you reach Hagley park turn left that is Deans Avenue continue down Deans about 3Kms it runs onto Harper then same as above. From the North travel the Main North Road into Papanui then Papanui Road travel Papanui for about 3Kms through Merivale Village after the Village the first Signalled intersection is the intersection Of Bealey Avenue Papanui turn right, travel in the right lane to the next intersection about 200 meters, look right and there we are. You can do a U turn at that point.

Things To Do	Known as 'the garden city', Christchurch has many large parks and public gardens. Hagley park is centrally located, the four avenues, Botanic gardens and Victoria Square, all contribute to the city's special character. Hagley Park, Museum, Arts Centre, Casino, Merivale Mall are all within an easy 5-10 minute walk. Centre of town is 15 minutes walk. We are centrally located with 15 restaurants & bars within 5 minutes walk. Key attractions include punting on the River Avon, balloon rides and the Antartic Centre.
