The Highlander Motor Inn and Apartments are centrally located on the corner of James and West streets in Toowoomba. We have 23 beautifully appointed, 4 star (AAA rated), motel and executive spa rooms and 10 fully self catering apartments. The popular local restaurant 'The Highland Fling' is on site and provides dine-in or room service breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have a well equipped conference room seating up to 30 people available for hire. Naturally, full catering service is available. | Getting There |
Coming from Brisbane on the Warrego highway, come up the Toowoomba range, stay on this road and we are located approx 6 kms on the left where the Warrego Highway, or James Street, as it is alternately called, intersects with West Street. We have a large restaurant on this corner. Coming from out West, eg Dalby Way, stay on the Warrego Highway until you enter Toowoomba and it meets West Street. Turn right into West and travel this street until it intersects with James (approx 4 kms), we are located on this intersection. Coming from easterly direction, eg Central and South Burnett, come down the range to enter Toowomba. Stay on this road which effectively becomes Ruthven Street (Toowoomba's main street)until it hits James. Turn right into James and follow this for approximately 2 kms until it hits West. Our premises is located at this intersection. Coming in from Warwick on the New England Highway, come up the range into Toowoomba. This road becomes Ruthven Street. Turn left off this road into James Street. Stay on James for approx 2 kms until it intersects West Street. We are located on this intersection. |
