The Ryley Motor Inn has 17 3½ star AAA rated rooms. We offer you the choice of a variety of rooms – Single, Double, Twin, Triple, Interconnecting and Family rooms. All suites are set back from the road and the car park, and all rooms are at ground level. Set in a pleasing shaded garden/courtyard setting, the Ryley Motor Inn is, clean, quiet and comfortable ensuring you a good, quiet nights rest. All rooms are fully climate controlled for your year round comfort, they also contain direct dial phones, remote controlled TV, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, tea/coffee making facilities, toasters and mini bars. Austar pay TV is provided free to all units. DVD players and a large range of DVD movies are also free and available on request. If required we can also provide you with a microwave to use during your stay with us. If a BBQ is more to your liking you may choose to relax, unwind and use the Ryley Motor Inn's gas BBQ located in the tranquil courtyard setting over looking the in ground pool. Cooking utensils can be provided on request. What ever your choice, if you wish to relax and unwind but at the same time prefer venues and attractions only a few minutes walk away, let the staff of Ryley Motor Inn accommodate you, We are situated just a short leisurely stroll from the CBD, shopping centre and picturesque Merriwa Park. Also within walking distance you will find a variety of clubs, restaurants and fast food outlets. The Wangaratta tourist information centre, train station, hospital, Cinema, K-Mart, Big W and other specialty shops are also just a short walk away. Room service is available so you can enjoy either a continental or cooked breakfast delivered to your room. If you would rather dine in, in the privacy of your own room for your evening meal that can also be arranged. |

| Getting There |
Wangaratta is located approximately 250km North East of Melbourne along the Hume Freeway. The Ryley Motor Inn is stuated on the main road through town (Old Hume Highway) If you are traveling by car from Melbourne, take the first Wangaratta exit, go through 3 sets of traffic lights, about 100 meters past the third set of lights do a U turn, then a left turn into the service road, we are situated at the end of the service road. If your journey is bringing you from the north, take the first Wangaratta exit, then you need to go through a set of traffic lights in the middle of town, through the next roundabout, then left into the service road, we are situated at the end of the service road. |

The Ryley Motor Inn is only 200 metres from the heart of Wangaratta, and only 100 metres from the very picturesque Merriwa Park. Other attractions include King George gardens, river walks, Exhibition Gallery, Historic Museum, golf courses, grass & hardcourt tennis, rail trail and aquatic centre to name a few. Neighbouring the Ryley Motor Inn is the very popular Indian Tandoori restaurant and directly opposite Ryley Motor Inn is Marvilla's Bar & Restaurant offering the finest in Italian food. Both of these restaurants offer charge back facilities as do others in town. Wangaratta is in the heart of Victoria's North Eastern wineries, with Brown Brothers and the Milawa Gourmet Region less than 15 minutes away. The famous Rutherglen wineries are less than 45 minutes drive and the Alps and snowfields are less than 150km away. The Mountains to the Murray Bike Trail is Australia's premier rail trail which is a sealed bicycle path that commences in Wangaratta & takes route via the picturesque Ovens Valley below Mt.Buffalo 97kms to Bright with a 15km side link to historic Beechworth. Situated at the junction of the Ovens and King Rivers and less than two and a half hours drive from Melbourne, Wangaratta is the ideal destination to use as a base for touring NE Victoria. |
