The Knight Residence has 28 one- and two-bedroom apartments spread over six floors. All have bright, modern decor in rust, green or blue colour schemes with original artworks on the walls. The lounge areas include sofas and armchairs, dining areas, widescreen LCD TVs with satellite channels, and VCR/DVD players. Fully-equipped kitchens come with breakfast packs on arrival, while tea and coffee are replenished daily. Tiled bathrooms have mosaic floors, shower/tub combinations, heated towel rails and mirrors, and luxury toiletries. Imagine having the freedom to do things your way, at your pace. | Getting There |
Edinburgh Airport (EDI): Approximate driving time to The Knight Residence is 25 minutes and distance is 7.5 miles (12 kilometres). The Edinburgh Airport City Centre bus service runs to Edinburgh centre every 10 minutes between 7 AM and 9.40 PM (Monday to Friday) and 10.10 AM and 5.30 PM at weekends. Single fares are £3.30 and open returns are £5. Guests should disembark at Haymarket station and take a taxi (£5) to The Knight Residence. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around £16. All prices are subject to change. Driving directions: From the airport, take the A8 through Corstorphine to Haymarket Terrace, stay in the middle lane and follow signs for A8 into Edinburgh City Centre. Carry on to Shandwick Place and follow signs for A702. Fraser’s department store is ahead on the left and the Rutland Hotel on the right; at this point take the right-hand lane and turn right onto Lothian Road. Continue straight ahead and take Bread Street, third on the left. After 50 metres take the hairpin right onto East Fountainbridge then next left into Kennedy Walk. Bear left onto High Riggs and The Knight Residence car park is on your right. |
