Te Moenga Lodge is a luxury retreat just a few minutes from the centre of Taupo providing the best view of Lake Taupo guaranteed! As you drive up the private driveway and enter the delightful Lodge, be prepared to stand back and allow a few seconds to take in the breath taking view. Our private Chalets are very spacious, well equipped with true attention to detail. The two ensuite Studio rooms, with garden outlook, have the added benefit of an extremely comfortable shared lounge, dining room and outdoor terrace with BBQ, all with the former mentioned views. Your Hosts, Brent & Jacque offer first class, friendly and efficient service, no request is too much trouble for us. A visit to Te Moenga Lodge is one to cherish for years to come, you'll find it hard to beat the view, quality service and accommodation on offer. |

| Getting There |
From the North State Highway 1: At brow of hill entering Taupo turn right into Poihipi Road, signposted Acacia Bay, follow this road all the way to Acacia Bay - a few minutes through resdiential area then along a straight. At Acacia Bay turn into Reeves Road (first road on right after shops), follow this road right to the very top of the hill (turns into a private road). Te Moenga Lodge is at the end of this road. From the South State Highway 1: After going North through Taupo township turn left to Acacia Bay (Norman Smith Street)after the Control Gates Bridge just north of town. Follow this road all the way to Acacia Bay, a few minutes through residentail area then along a straight. At Acacia Bay turn right into Reeves Road (1st road on right past shops), follow this road right to the top of the hill (turns into a private road. Te Moenga Lodge is at the end of this road. |
