Situated in a quiet street, a short stroll from superb cafe dining, the cinema, Mount Gambier's shopping centre, the R.S.L. Club and main shopping street. The park offers a range of budget, standard and ensuite cabins for the weary traveller or those wishing to use the park's central location for a few days whilst exploring the regions many and varied attractions. The owners have commenced renovation with new cabins arriving, camp kitchen being built and drive through sites for large rigs. |

| Things To Do |
The Limestone Coast itself stands tall as a holiday destination - and with good reason! Dormant volcanoes dominate the landscape of the city of Mount Ganbier, with the famed Blue Lake being within one of the craters. Take a tour in a glass lift to the pumping staion and learn about the volcanoes in the region and the mystery of the colour change of the lake. Visit the award winning Laughton Park Gardens and relax with a coffee in the beautiful surroundings. See the Umpherston Sinkhole in the day and visit again in the evening to feed and enjoy the possums which come out at night. Do a tour of the Engelbrecht Cave which tunnels under the city and/or drive 20 minutes across the border to Victoria where you can enjoy a cruise on the Glenelg River and visit the Princess Margaret Rose Caves. There are also world heritage listed caves at Naracoorte. Drive to the historic town of Penola and continue on to the winegrowing region of the Coonawarra. There and many more attractions available for you and all within a short distance of Central Caravan Park. |
