The lodge features 195 well-appointed rooms including 6 spectacular loft suites. Facilities include The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, high-speed internet access in all guest rooms, underground parking and an exercise room with 35 person jetted hot pool, a steam room, and exercise equipment. Downtown shops and restaurants are accessible via a pleasant 10-minute walk or by the complimentary evening shuttle service. The friendly and outgoing staff is always happy to provide information or suggestions on any of Banff's many exciting activities. Standard Rooms: Standard rooms have a courtyard view. The rooms feature maple furnishings and artwork inspired by Canada's magnificent Rocky Mountains. These rooms can accommodate up to four adults in a room with two queen beds or two adults in a room with one queen bed. All rooms have hairdryers, cable TV, and a coffee maker with complimentary tea and coffee. Superior Rooms: Superior rooms at Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa all have an exterior view, with some rooms having a balcony. The rooms feature maple furnishings and artwork inspired by Canada's magnificent Rocky Mountains. These rooms can accommodate up to four adults in a room with two queen or two double beds or two adults in a room with one king bed. All rooms have hairdryers, cable TV, and a coffee maker with complimentary tea and coffee. On-site SPA: Red Earth Spa has partnered with Phytomer, bringing you products that feed the senses and enhance natural beauty. Phytomer provides the benefits of the sea, with its 100% natural active marine ingredients. Continue the benefits of your spa experience after you leave, by purchasing any of the products to take home. SPA Hours of Operation: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (hours may vary slightly according to the season) Spa treatments available daily Parking for arriving guests: Guests arriving for check-in are welcome to park in our heated underground parkade, which will eliminate the need for moving your vehicle after you are checked in. The parkade entrance is located on the front of the building (Banff Avenue) and can be accessed using the second driveway on the right. Other amenities include high-speed internet access (fees apply), all guest rooms at the Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa are wired for broadband internet access - just plug in your laptop, and you'll be surfing the internet at blazing fast speeds. Currency Exchange: USD can be exchanged at the front desk. Child Minding: Referals can be requested/resourced at the front desk. Banff Caribou Shuttle: Exclusive to our guests' is the complimentary evening shuttle service to downtown shops and restaurants. The shuttle service runs every 30 minutes between 4:00pm and 10:00pm each evening dropping guests at downtown shops and restaurants. Best of Banff Discount Booklet: our unique "Best of Banff" Booklet - presented to all guests - entitles you to great discounts and special offers at leading Banff area retailers, restaurants and other service providers. Business FacilitiesOur spacious Red Earth Summit Room can accommodate 50 people reception style, 36 people banquet style, 48 people theatre style, 24 people classroom, 20 U-Shape, 24 Hollow Square, and 20 boardroom style. Driving from Calgary to Banff: If driving from Calgary to Banff, take the Trans-Canada Highway (also called Highway 1 as indicated on the Google map above) west to the Banff exit, and follow the signs a short distance to Banff townsite. Approximate distance from the Calgary International Airport to the Banff townsite is 145 km (90 miles). Allow 1.5 - 2 hours of driving time.By zooming out 5 or 6 times on the Google map at the top of this page, you can see the entire driving route from Calgary to Banff. |
