Motel Mayfair on Cavell has 24 non-smoking rooms ranging from standard rooms to apartments and spa rooms. Located only 1.5 kilometres west of the centre of Hobart, the motel is only a few short minutes walk from an Italian restaurant and take away shop, a short taxi ride to the world-famous Salamanca Market and North Hobart restaurant strip. Motel Mayfair on Cavell serves breakfasts only but is close to many restaurants, take-away food stores and some restaurants do deliver food and alcohol directly to rooms. All rooms have their own bathrooms, some with spas and all with Austar pay TV.

The Bowen Room - Rates are for 2. Max occ 4. Extra guest charge $20 per night. Bedding config: 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, can include another bed. Ensuite bathroom with a spa and kitchenette (microwave, small fridge, toaster, tea & coffee facilities)

Getting There	Motel Mayfair on Cavell and Hobart city is a 20 minute car or taxi ride from the Hobart International Airport. Southern Airport Pickup offers a mini bus service direct to us which is avialable seven days a week from the airport. When entering Hobart, the easiest route is to travel up Davey Street (one way street), turn right into Molle Street (also a one way street), turn left in Melville Street and left again into Cavell Street.

Things To Do	Motel Mayfair on Cavell is approximately a 10-15 minute walk into Hobart city or a short drive. The world-famous Salamanca Market is only minutes from our doorstep, as is the North Hobart restaurant strip, Hobart Aquatic Centre and Domain Tennis Centre. It is less than 30 minutes by car to the summit of Mount Wellington and only a short distance to Clarence and Glenorchy cities including the Bellerive Ocal: venue for international cricket matches. The Derwent Valley, Huon Valley and iconic historic town of Richmond are approximately 30 minutes drive while the Tasman Peninsula, Tahune Airwalk, Bruny Island, Maria Island National Park are all worth day trips. An abundance of ferry tours (short River cruises or longer day trips) depart the Hobart waterfront only minutes from Motel Mayfair on Cavell.
