First among the guests on the hotel's re-opening were New Zealanders travelling to the capital for business or pleasure - conferences, family, weekend excursions, and shopping. Many of these guests continue to return to the Cambridge, recognizing that location and value for money are the first important considerations for any traveller. The elegant renovations with great service and cleanliness combine to bring guests back again and again. With 25 overnight rooms the hotel is a more personal Kiwi experience, and the bistro and bar are host to a colourful mix of travellers and Wellingtonians, who prefer the familiarity and comfortable surroundings of a traditional bar environment as opposed to the huge variety and excitement of Courtenay Place bars and clubs, to be found right on the hotel's doorstep. There are a variety of ensuite rooms, and all provide Sky TV, fridge, tea/coffee-making facilities, and telephone/Internet access. Our single rooms are $85 a night. Ensuite doubles are $95 and twin ensuite rooms are $99. Triples are available at $115, while the quads make ideal family or group rooms, with the bunk set making up the four beds for only $125 per night. The hotel reception is open 24 hours so you may check in any time that suits you. If you are a night owl there is plenty to see in town and your room card will give you 24-hour access to the hotel. As a hotel we do not offer service to the rooms, or stock mini-bars but we do have a sports bar with bistro dining that currently provides lunch and evening meals as well as cooked breakfasts from 7.30am to 10.30am Monday to Saturday and 10am onwards Sundays. If you prefer to prepare your own meals we have a shared kitchen with electric hobs, microwaves and storage areas |

Quad Room
Rates are for 1-4 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Bedding configuration is 1 super-king & a set of bunk-beds OR 2 singles & set of bunks. | Getting There |
We are centrally located - just off Courtenay Place. A taxi from the airport is just under $25, and a shuttle is around $15. From the railway station or ferry terminals a taxi is approximately $10, or a bus to Courtenay Place is only $1. The Flyer is a bright orange bus that leaves Courtenay Place for the airport every half hour at a cost of $5.00. |
| Parking |
Unfortunately we don’t have a carpark but there is a safe pay and display carpark area across the road from us for $1 per hour or $1 every 2hrs overnight. Street Parking is free overnight 6pm to 8am and all day Sunday. There are also secure carparking buildings just short walks away that do 24hr specials. |
| Things To Do |
The Embassy Theatre, Courtenay Place and supermarket are all within a two minute walk and Oriental Bay (the newly revamped beach of Wellington) and Te Papa (Museum of New Zealand) are a 5-10 minute walk. |
