Set in a quiet location opposite the bay at Urangan, the Boat Harbour Resort consists of 16 holiday studios suitable for up to 4 persons overnight. For larger family accommodation 2 bedroom bungalows are available (4). All are tastefully decorated and fully self-contained. Large decks are the perfect spot to breakfast, sun yourself, or indulge in an evening beverage. A swimming pool and barbeque area that encourages you to make the most of the great outdoors. Each studio unit has an allocated undercover car park and there is plenty of additional parking available for boats, trailers etc. Hervey Bay is the Whale Watching capital of the world and the whales take up residence in the calm clear waters of Hervey Bay from July to November each year. The resort overlooks World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. Dolphin watch tours operate out of whale season and fishing charters are available all year round. A wide variety of tours depart daily from the marina which is only a short stroll from the Resort. For your convenience the office has full booking facilities to arrange all tours. The Boat Harbour Resort is located 600m from the marina & the Famous Hervey Bay Boat Club. Stay on Boat Harbour Drive as you enter town and continue until you reach the water (stop sign) the resort is located 100m to the right. Nearest city: Brisbane - 3 hours Nearest town: Maryborough - 20 minutes Nearest airport: Hervey Bay - 5 minutes Nearest train: Maryborough - 20 minutes (bus link to Hervey Bay) Hervey Bay Limousine Service offers a very good service to and from Centro for just $12 up to 4 persons 9.00am - 5.00pm. Hervey Bay Airport Shuttle meets every flight at just $6 per person. |
