The Three Property Near the Etruscan ancient city of Perugia, in the charm of a wood-clad hillside, with glimpses of the Umbrian-Tuscan countryside all around, are ideally situated the Oscano’s residences: the Castle, Villa Ada and the Oscano’s mill. Each of these has been designed to offer a particular form of accomodation and different types of facilities, to meet varying requirements. In common they provide an atmosphere of great calm and cordiality. Perfect location for leisure tourism and perfect landscape for incentives and meeting between the nature and an historical Castle, among the thousand secrets of a truly unique Umbrian land. The Castle The Castle is an historical residence immersed in the tranquillity of the verdant Umbrian hills. The eleven Junior Suite rooms are elegantly decorated, further innobled with lovely antique furniture, and equipped with every comfort. In the beautiful Turandot dining-room you will discover the intriguing flavours of a true regional cuisine. The handsome library (1500th) and exquisite sitting-rooms are ideals for reading, conversation and work. The Castle also offers a distinctive meeting rooms, where even work becomes a pleasure. Impeccable and unobtrusive service, and the magical natural scenery, make of the Castle an ideal setting for any type of cultural occasion and society life. Villa Ada Villa ada is a late nineteenth-century residence adjoining the castle. The twenty-two rooms are soberly and elegantly furnished. The selective brickwork, the warm wood panelling and neutral colours reflect authentic Umbrian tradition, and convey a mood of ease and total relaxation. Villa ada contains modern meeting-rooms for the most varied business-requirements. Breakfast, bar-service and restaurant are provided in the Turandot hall of the Castle. Guests may also make use of the sitting-rooms and library to spend enjoyable evenings with their friends, in an atmosphere of great peace and comfort. La Macina dell’Oscano The Oscano mill is a fascinating farm-house surrounded by 250 hectares of park. It has been restructured into thirteen self-contained flats which are provided with every comfort. For the delight of those treating themselves to a country holiday, the Oscano mill offers the best opportunity to spend one’s leisure in an invigorating and natural environment. The facilities include: a swimming-pool, ping-pong, mountain-bike excursions, riding (4 km away) , tennis (4 km away), fishing (2 km away). The Oscano mill is an authentic farming business that produces and sells typical Umbrian produce, such as wine, oil and cheese. |

| Getting There |
FROM SOUTH: From the A1 exit at Orte or Valdichina (northern, it is some kms more but sometime is quicker to avoid traffic and lower speed limits in the e-45 that is a freeway and not a motorway) and take the freeway E-45 in direction of Perugia, take the exit at Perugia Madonna Alta (because Perugia has several exits). Then, turn right, keep on going and pass the soccer stadium. Follow signs for "Oscano" (blu signs with a white written) as for locality they will drive you up to the castle. If you are following signs to Santa Lucia, San Marco and Cenerente, you're on the right way. You will see the castle on the right on the top of the hill! FROM NORTH: From the A1; go towards Bologna then Ancona Rimini (not Firenze-Roma). Take the exit Cesena Nord. Keep on going on the freeway E-45 until the exit Pierantonio (25km north of Perugia). After the exit continue in direction of Corciano and Magione for 13-14 km then turn left to Perugia (direction) and you will pass through Maestrello, Colle Umberto, Canneto. As soon as you arrive to Cenerente, You will the castle on the left on the hill. |
