Licensed restaurant from 6.30 pm Monday-Saturday.This Motel is a gem, offering a relaxed & happy stay in immaculate surrounds.There is plenty of room for the children to play safe & secure off the highway; the pool a real bonus in the warmer months! For others, we have a delightful cosy lounge Bar & restaurant, where you can spend a pleasant few hours with the special companion in your life. Parking spaces are ample; right at your door, with plenty of space for trailers, boats ,trucks etc.The carpark is freshly asphalted, dry & clean for your comfort. Ramps are available to gain wheelchair access to the unit,organized & waiting for you to arrive if you request that facility. |

From Melbourne, take the Western Highway to Stawell. Ignore the right hand turn off to Stawell and continue along the highway until you see us by the large wooden frame poppet head on the right hand side. |

| Things To Do |
We are located just a short drive to Grampians National Park and within close proximity to award winning wineries. Ideal base to explore national park, wineries & Stawell Gift experience. We suggest that Stawell is an ideal town in which to base yourself for a family holiday. You can easily fill a day in the town & environs, as the town is an historic gold mining centre with a lovely steetscape; the streets meandering along old lanes & bends where once coaches & drays laboured amongst the gold diggings. Close to Stawell, there are extensive forest areas where gold fossickers can look for gold , using pans in the traditional way or metal detectors if that is your passion.There is plenty of the precious metal still to be found by the lucky prospector!!!! For the more sedate experience, there are lots of little townships & settlements to discover; all accessible by good roads ,only a short drive from our motel. |
