Welcome to The Warwick New York Hotel, a palatial midtown Manhattan hotel, perfectly located close to Broadway and numerous New York City landmarks. Commissioned by William Randolph Hearst in 1926 for his paramour, Marion Davies, to host their many Hollywood and theatrical friends, The Warwick New York Hotel was originally built opposite the Ziegfeld Theater for this very reason. The Warwick New York Hotel epitomises European-style elegance and is convenient for both business and vacation travellers to see New York City at its greatest. The hotel stands across the street from New York's newly revitalised Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and is within four blocks of New York City's Broadway, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Fifth Avenue and the Rockefeller Center. Easily accessible from New York's airports, the hotel offers an intimate atmosphere and personalised service for today's traveller. The Warwick New York Hotel offers 359 oversized hotel guest rooms, 67 handsomely appointed suites (several with terraces), non-smoking rooms, marble bathrooms, special amenities, high-speed wireless Internet, dual-line telephones, minibar, in-room safes, Business Centre, Fitness Centre, valet service, 24-hour Room Service and full-sized meeting and banquet facilities. For dining and enjoyment, The Warwick New York Hotel has recently opened its restaurant, Murals on 54, featuring innovative continental cuisine with international influences. The modernized dining room is warm and comfortable, and showcases Dean Cornwell's historic murals painted in 1937. The murals were just meticulously restored in February 2004. Murals on 54 Operating Hours: Breakfast is served daily from 6:30am to 11:00am. (Weekend breakfast is served until 12:30pm) Lunch is served Monday to Friday, from 12noon to 2:30pm. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm. Randolph's Bar the classic bar and lounge at The Warwick New York, is the place to see and be seen, where Manhattan mixes. Randolph's was named after William Randolph Hearst, the hotel's original owner, when it was established in 1996. Its atmosphere radiates the sophisticated allure of a past era. An expanded lounge resembling a traditional bar, the restaurant was designed to closely resemble a living room, with inviting sofas, armchairs and large windows that overlook New York City's famous Avenue of the Americas, or watch the latest on the Flat Screen television sets Randolph Hours of Operation: Open for lunch Monday to Friday - 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm Open for dinner - Monday to Saturday - 5:30 pm to 11:00 pm The kitchen is open until 11:00 pm and the bar serves drinks until 1:00 am. Its midtown location, on Avenue of the Americas off 54th Street, makes it a convenient after-work spot for the many businesses in the area. Health and Fitness Facilities Conveniently located on the 3rd floor, the Fitness Centre offers an array of quality fitness equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes and free weights. Registered guests given access to the facility can gain entry to the Fitness Centre with their room keycard. Business Centre The hotel's Business Centre is located in the Lobby of the hotel, to the right of the Reception desk. The Business Centre offers 24-hour fax and copying services, computers with high-speed Internet access. Audio-visual equipment and mobile phone rentals are also available upon request. The Business Centre is manned by the hotel's Guest Relations Managers, who are multilingual and happy to assist all guests' needs. Internet Access Wireless High-Speed Internet access is available in all guest rooms and meeting rooms with an access charge of USD$12.00 per day, for any 24-hour period (For example: If you log in at 1:00PM, you will have access for 24 hours, into 12:59PM the following day).
