Huge windows for wonderful dramatic views of the Thames, open spaces, fresh contemporary interiors and furnishings plus fantastic food concepts, gorgeous guest rooms, an award-winning spa, a buzzy family-run atmosphere and friendly service. There is so much to enjoy and do at the runnymede-on-thames and it’s also perfect for relaxing or doing nothing at all! Just around the corner, you can have a whale of a time at one of the local attractions, wind back the clock at Windsor Castle or take a turn around local gardens and lakes. Our restaurants and spa are very popular so to avoid disappointment , please make dining reservations or book spa treatments before you arrive. We are an entirely non smoking property and fully air-conditioned throughout. Take to the waters at in the spa and immerse yourself in our luxurious award-winning spa. There’s a swimming pool, eucalyptus steam room, whirlpool bath, saunas and plunge pool. Choose from a wide range of treatments for women, men and teens, take as little or as long as you want and drift away into a state of relaxed bliss. When you’re feeling energetic you can jog along the river, take an exercise or dance class or use our fully fitted gymnasium with the latest Technogym fitness equipment. Then relax in our spa lounge with its own riverside gardens. In short, there’s everything you need to feel and look fit and gorgeous! Our team is friendly, informal and highly professional. At the end of your time with us, we hope you will feel rested, calm and thoroughly rejuvenated. The Spa is open 0630 to 2200 hours Monday to Friday and 0700 to 2100 hours Saturday and Sunday (access times for children are limited - please see the information under Children & Extra guests. ***the-runnymede-on-thames will be working on external landscaping from November 2009 through to the beginning of April 20010. From January - April 2010 Charlie Bell's restaurant will be closed for refurbishment. Throughout this time, all other public areas, the bedrooms and spa remain totally unaffected and the works are phased to ensure minimal impact on our guests. Should you wish to dine with us this must be booked prior to arrival.*** In Leftbank restaurant dine and unwind beside the river. Enjoy seasonal and fresh dishes prepared by people who love food.
