| Getting There |
Beaches International is located at 1 Beach St, Forster. Forster is located aproximately 3 hours north of Sydney and 3.5 hours south of Coffs Harbour. Travelling from the South - take the Pacific Highway and turn right 6kms north of Nabiac. Follow the Forster / Tuncurry signs. Cross the bridge from Tuncurry into Forster. Beaches International luxury holiday accommodation is located at the second roundabout on your left hand side. Welcome! Travelling from the North - take the Pacific Highway and turn right aprox 10kms south of Taree onto Failford Rd. Follow the Forster / Tuncurry signs. Cross the bridge from Tuncurry into Forster. Beaches International luxury holiday accommodation is located at the second roundabout on your left hand side. Welcome! Bus transfer is the only form of public transport directly into Forster. Air and rail travel is available into Taree and bus transfers can be made from the airport or train station. Taree is aproximately 30 minutes from Forster. |

Secure undercover parking is complimentary to all guests of Beaches International. All two bedroom apartments are provided with one parking space. All three bedroom apartments and penthouses are provided with two parking spaces. Extra spaces for boats and trailers etc. may be available on request. Complimentary lock up facilities for bikes, surfboards and other equipment is available upon request. Off street visitor parking is also provided. |
| Things To Do |
Forster and the Great lakes Regions offer a number of attractions and activities for visitors to the area. Why not explore the 145km of pristine coastline located in the region. From well patrolled north facing beaches, to secluded bays off the beaten track, there is something to suit everyone. dolphin cruises, swim with dolphins, and fishing charters are some of the activities available. Take a cruise with one of local operators and explore the outer reaches of Wallis Lake. The lake is an area 25km long and 9kms wide and has many picnic areas and water access points around its shores. Or if you don't have your own boat, visit one of the local boat sheds and hire one (no license required) for an hour or a day and explore the lake at your own pace. The area also offers other activities including a number of walks both along the coast line and also through areas such as Wallingat State Forest and Booti Booti National Park. Taking in sweeping coastal views or rainforest remnants are just some of the highlights to be discovered. For visitors looking for a bit of culture and sophistication visit one the wineries, museums or galleries in the area. Forster is home to the famous Tobwabba Art Gallery fully owned and operated by the local aboriginal community. Tobwabba artists have pieces featured all over Australia and the world, including pieces featured during the 2000 Olympics at Sydney Olympic Park. What ever you reason for getting away, Forster and the Great Lakes region has something to offer. |
